ITIL 4 vs ITIL v3 – Transitioning from Service Lifecycle to Service Value Chain

Join the itSMF NY Metro LIG on May 1, 2019 at 6pm in NYC for an exclusive event with our featured speaker, Allen Ureta.

Join us for his intriguing talk titled, ITIL 4 vs ITIL v3 – Transitioning from Service Lifecycle to Service Value Chain.

For over 30 years ITIL has been a best practice framework for IT Service Management providing guidance for IT strategists, Agilists, operations and support personnel in providing customer-centric and service-oriented outcomes. ITIL 4 elaborates on the previous version by elaborating on the four dimensions critical for value delivery and the cascade to the Service Value System (SVS) and the Service Value Chain (SVC). This session will highlight the differences between ITIL v3’s Service Lifecycle and ITIL 4’s value models. It will include an overview of where ITIL came from, comparisons of key concepts and practices and a QA on the certification scheme being introduced to assist with those on their ITIL journey.
