 International Whitepaper Competition Results

The winner of the inaugural International Whitepaper Competition has been selected...

The winner of the event is Ian MacDonald, a member of itSMF UK, with his whitepaper,  "A simple, low cost but innovative approach to end-to-end service reporting"

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who submitted their papers for consideration.  The judging panel included a wide range of subject matter experts from locations around the globe, which unfortunately did cause some delays in the judging process, but the panel was very determined to make sure they made the right choice.  They received some very high quality entries and the final decision was not an easy one.

All entries received will be made available for download by itSMF members globally.  Details of the download location will be posted in the near future.

The five white papers selected by itSMF USA for submission to the global contest were:

  • Charles Araujo, “Making Change Stick”
  • Swen Conrad, “Organizational Change Management: Important? Yes.  Rocket Science? No.”
  • Dhiraj Gupta, “Does ITSM Matter?”
  • Carol Hibbard, “IT Cost Transparency Study with Miller-Valentine Group”
  • Joseph Hurley IV, “Cloudy With a Chance of Configuration Management”
