The Latest Practices in Effective Problem Management

You are invited to attend our Pittsburgh LIG February meeting where we will discuss ways to effectively implement Problem Management best practices.  This will be a joint meeting with Steel City HDI.

Problem Management is the Rodney Dangerfield ITSM process - it "gets no respect". Although Problem Management is one of the top three operational processes that are implemented by organizations, the implementation is typically given short shrift. Successful implementation is linked to addressing some of the key principles for this process. 

Come hear Jack Probst, President Elect for itSMF USA and Principle Consultant for Pink Elephant, provide a grounding in Problem Management based on the ITIL framework. He will discuss and provide an example of how one of his clients successfully implemented Problem Management in their organization, including the challenges and pitfalls that had to be overcome. Finally, Jack will demonstrate one of the key Problem Management practices through a group exercise.

Lunch and registration beginning at 11:30 am will be followed by the presentation and discussions.  The meeting will end by 3:00 pm.  We look forward to seeing you there!
