The nature of business process automation drives the need for higher degrees of availability, performance and support effectiveness. However these important KPIs need to remain balanced with the need to increase change agility in order to maintain pace with the rate of business demand.

By its nature, Change is 'good', bringing improvements to functionality, system reliability and providing a competitive advantage. However the paradox is that historically Change is also 'bad', potentially causing service disruption, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunities and exposing the business to risk.

In this context, successful IT organizations establish Service Transition processes, which enable Go-Live Ready releases balancing both risk and speed. In this informative session, Troy will provide practical advice on how to build support into design and how to optimize Release and Change Management processes in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
