WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:

ITSM Process Design: A 1/2 Day Workshop

Navvia and itSMF Dallas Fort Worth LIG present an interactive 1/2 day workshop on Effective Process Design intended to provide people who are leading Process Design projects with the techniques required to optimize the success of their project. It covers the preparatory work required to ensure that the stage is set correctly for success, that the process design project and team are managed to best-practice standards and that the right follow-up is planned. Participants will learn the factors that maximize chances for success. The workshop, led by David Mainville, CEO and Co-founder of Navvia, will teach you the "why” and "how” of designing a process that is simple, non-bureaucratic and easy to implement:

  • Setting the stage correctly for success
  • How to design a process with an eye to adoption
  • Managing consensus building with getting things done
  • The importance of driving technical specs for ITSM tool implementation
  • And, more!

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

David Mainville – CEO and Co-Founder of Navvia

David’s passion for service management comes from over 30 years of practical experience and proven success. As a Senior Field Engineer David was on the front line of Service Operations processes such as Incident Management, Change Management and Configuration Management.

As a Field Operations Manager David cut his teeth on customer facing processes such as Service Catalog and Service Level Management and Continual Service Improvement. As a Solutions Architect, Practice Principal and Professional Services Director, David was actively involved in Service Design through the creation of numerous service offerings.

As the CEO & co-founder of Navvia he has built an ITSM consulting practice and has architected and launched an innovative SAAS based Process Management Software product designed to take the complexity out of process management.

David is a frequent contributor to ITSM publications, an experienced speaker and lecturer, has been a guest on numerous webinars and podcasts and is an active blogger on topics as wide ranging as Effective Process Design, ITSM governance and Cloud Computing.
