Lisa Hodges from Cornerstone Service Management

Your application development team has adopted the Agile approach.  Releases are going live more quickly, customers are happy!  A few weeks later, incident response times are slow and the problem backlog is growing.  Operations asks development for help, and are told ‘sorry, we don’t have time – we’re off on the next Sprint’!  Operations staff are frustrated, end users are left wondering what happened to that great initial response?!  Many organizations have adopted ITIL best practices and embraced the Agile approach and experienced positive results, yet all too frequently is seems that we’re creating a gap between development and operations.”
