Heartland LIG stepped up to the challenge for yet another win. Will anyone be able to break their

Upcoming topics for the IG Whitepaper Challenge
We
will be suspending the current itSMF USA IG Whitepaper Challenge to focus on
expanding the contest to an international level. For further information please see the International Whitepaper Competition page.
Need an idea for your IG meeting? Want to capture your groups knowledge and produce a practitioner paper? Want to earn priSM CPDs??
A topic for discussion will be provided every two months (communicated at the IG Services meetings). The Knowledge Management portfolio group, specifically the IP Development Committee, generates all topics.
The IG will then hold their meeting with the purpose of ‘solving’ the topic – sharing their experiences and how they have applied ‘good practices’ in the described situation. Information is debated and then captured as ‘best practice’ for the IG. The IG will then format the results into a practitioner paper.
The IP Development Committee will review all papers submitted within the two-month period and a ‘winner’ will be chosen. A ‘virtual plaque’ (above) is awarded to the winning entry which can be posted on the IG’s website. All submissions will be posted on the itSMF USA website. The winning entry will be included in itSMF USA’s electronic publication, The Source for IT Service Management.
